As part of the Guru Purnima celebrations in Yogoda Satsanga Society of India's (YSS) Ashrams, Kendras and Mandalis, a special satsanga was organised at YSDM Tagore Garden in New Delhi on July 29, 2018.
Swami Ishwaranandaji conducted the satsanga which was attended by over 40 devotees who regularly visit the Dhyana Mandali located in west Delhi. Beginning with the Yogoda technique of Energization Exercises, Swamiji led the attendees through a period of chanting and meditation lasting 45 minutes, followed by a brief talk.
In his satsanga, Swamiji focused on the benefits of group meditation and enunciated the role of Dhyana Mandalis like the Tagore Garden Mandali which is a boon for local devotees seeking regular group meditation .
According to Swamiji, the Dhyana Mandali emanated vibrations of peace and calm, and provided an oasis of spiritual succour amid the din of city noises in the vicinity. It has been set up in a separate section of the residential premises of Sri Alok Misra and Smt. Sunaina Misra, and has been sound-proofed for facilitating meditation.
Prasad was served at the end of the satsanga.
